Venda Ravioli now offers natural Black Angus beef from Creekstone
Farms.
Just in time for the summer grilling season, Venda Ravioli
now offers natural beef from Creekstone Farms in Kansas, one of the
nation’s top producers and processors of premium Black Angus beef. This
is in response to the customers’ growing desire to know where their food
comes from, according to owner Alan Costantino.
Beef products sold under
Creekstone Farms’ green label have been produced without growth-promoting
hormones and antibiotics. At Creekstone Farms, strict protocols are in
place with a “never-ever” program --- no hormones ever, no antibiotics
ever. The cattle are 100 percent vegetarian fed since birth, and
Creekstone Farms is dedicated to humane animal care and handling.
“We believe that humane handling equals better beef,” said Costantino.
“Creekstone Farms is virtually unmatched in terms of safety controls and
sanitation measures. More and more of our customers indicated that they
want all-natural beef that is of high quality and guaranteed tender. It’s
a little more expensive, but we think it’s definitely worth it. At Venda,
we are constantly striving to better serve our customers.”
Venda
Ravioli carries Creekstone Farms natural prime and choice products,
including sirloin steaks, rib eyes, and ground sirloin. The store’s
bracioles (an Italian specialty) and its meatball mixture of ground veal,
beef and pork are also now made with USDA-approved Creekstone Farms
natural meats.
For more information, call 421-9105 and ask for the
meat department at Venda. Or stop in and ask for Bobby – he’ll be happy
to answer all your questions about natural beef.
An excellent
article on Creekstone Farms all-natural beef appeared recently in the New
York Times. It’s well worth reading:

The
fountain has been turned on for the spring/summer season, and al fresco
dining is once again available on DePasquale Plaza.
Surrounding
the fountain in the flower-filled plaza are the café tables for outdoor
dining at both Venda Ravioli and Costantino’s Ristorante. You can bask in
the sun, or sit in the shade under a colorful umbrella. Italian music
fills the air.
Hearty yet healthy dishes are served
at Venda daily, starting at 11:30 a.m. Appetizers with cocktails and full
dinners are served across the plaza every night at Costantino’s. Both
establishments serve authentic Italian cuisine, sometimes with a
contemporary twist.
To reserve seating at Venda, call 421-9105.
At Costantino’s, call 528-1100.
